I bought 9 bottles of Revitol when I found out I was pregnant, one for each month. Every woman in my family has stretch marks from pregnancy and I wanted the tradition to end with me. Vitamin A has recently been reported to cause birth defects so this lotion should not be used during pregnancy!!!
Hi! I’ve used Revitol on my stretch marks and it did work for me. Plus, it contains Aloe Vera and Vit E that helps in moisturizing the skin.
My stretch marks were greatly benefited by the use of this cream! I have recommended it to all my friends unfortunately I did not get it until after I had my son. It works magic I use it with a combination of palmers tummy butter, skin oil, aveeno, and nivea. That is in order from the most to least i use in my own homemade concoction. I used cosmetyn while pregnant and it did not seem to help but revitol really works. Also stretch marks are caused by hormones as well so of course they are not completely preventable. I was tiny when i was pregnant no one even knew I was pregnant and I still got them so… good luck to everyone I have used so many different stretch mark creams int eh last 3 years and mine were terrible and almost gone now. O yes and tanning about a year and a half with tons of lotion on your marks will significantly decrase them anytime before that will damage the skin (in my opinion) because it is still vulnerable and just recently torn. To the Rebecca lady who posted in June of 2011…Vitamin A PREVENTS some birth defects, it does not CAUSE them!!! You need to go back and do more research before you post and end up scaring people out of a good product. Vitamin A deficiency is a leading cause in birth defects such as cleft palates (I should know, I have one!). You NEED this vitamin to PREVENT some physical birth defects.

I used this ONE time and had a terrible itchy red rash consisting of little red bumps on all the areas that i put it on! It did not go away until a few days later and i thought it was going to make MORE scars from the way it looked. not sure if this is supposed to happen or if i had a reaction to it but i have not used it since.. i would LOVE to know why this happened.
